Schylar Rose, Our Forever Baby

A tiny girl, given to us but only for a little while, Tine feet, tiny hands with the biggest smile, A million memories, hugs and kisses you leave behind Schylar Rose our forever baby, sweet and kind. They said you won't live beyond a month or two, Heartbroken we were for you! But we knew only God's word is true, And we watched with hope, as slowly you grew A month became twelve, then another eight. Your smiles became laughter, our hope turned to faith. Your progress, our happy tears For life, not in months but years! But now your birthdays will come with no candles or cake, Only memories filled with so much heartache! Yes it hurts!, you our baby! So why?! Our princess now twinkling as a tiny star in the sky...
