Schwarzes Wasser, Black Water, Agua Negro

Nur schwarzes Wasser
Wie die Nacht ohne Mondschein
Heute die Mandau

----------------------------------------

Only black water
As a night without moonlight
Today the Mandau 

----------------------------------------

Sólo agua *****
Como una noche sin luna
Hoy día el Mundau



Note: The Mandau River is flowing through Zittau, Saxony and meets the Neisse river at the
German/Polish border

The German word for black was my maiden name (but without the "es" at the end. My father's father was German. Very much enjoyed this haiku. Love, Carolyn
