Notes About The Poem

Baby's off to college

E-mailed pic of her groovy dorm room

Where she'll absorb trite and knowledge

Rib-kickin' as if she were still in my womb

Mom-love surely heart-gut balmed unto to the tomb.

Great, masterful write! I like the forth line, very descriptive and emotional, a great tie between mother and daughter!! Nicely done Nancy!!

When the twins went off to school I was OK when I typed good night to them and they'd each type back, "Good night Dad." It was hard. Tony
