Scheme of Things
John wants everyone to walk in truth
And if you happen to have a sweet tooth
One of priest's sermons should listen to
Will liven you up so you won't feel blue.
No matter how hard we have tried
Must let God become our great guide
I may have to be much more direct
God will nurture, provide and protect.
On ballpoint pen that's the scheme of things
As I think about it much joy it brings
While in church with pin I was smitten
And another of God's poems I had written.
