Scattered

I find I think constantly with a busy mind 
There's just so much to do in every day 
My thoughts all scattered and unrefined 

Worries and problems go round unasked 
Keeping me awake at night in hot dismay 
I find I think constantly with a busy mind 

I'm falling behind with innumerable tasks 
There has got to be a much better way 
My thoughts all scattered and unrefined

I'll start a journal then in relief I can bask 
All of my minds clutter can just fade away
I find I think constantly with a busy mind 
 
Collating a glut of thoughts no easy ask 
I should have started on this yesterday
My thoughts all scattered and unrefined
 
My veneer of calm may soon be unmasked 
My melt down will be a spectacular display 
I find I think constantly with a busy mind
