Scarlett Armor

Bathed in scarlet armor, trapped in an amber tomb
If you could only see me now
The pain you gave away, so unknowingly
See the destruction of me

Give me moment
To explain myself and my rage
I can’t blame you
But it’s your fault that I’m this way
The lights went off
With every ounce of me, you still ignored

Bathed in scarlet armor, trapped in an amber tomb
If you could only see me now
The pain you gave away, so unknowingly
See the destruction of me

I need a reason
Some rational, to get me through this night
I have a friend by my side
He helps me see the other part of myself
I sleep at night
Only after I’ve forgotten consciousness

Bathed in scarlet armor, trapped in an amber tomb
If you could see me now
The pain you gave away, so unknowingly
See the destruction of me
Bathed in scarlet armor, trapped in an amber tomb
If you could see me now
The pain you gave away, so unknowingly
See the destruction of me

I cannot return home
I’ve got no place to hide
I need somewhere to settle my mind
There is no shelter
I have no safety
From the storm I see
Please see me
Please save me
I will go to my own hell

Bathed in scarlet armor, trapped in an amber tomb
If you could see me now
The pain you gave away, so unknowingly
See the destruction of me
Bathed in scarlet armor, trapped in an amber tomb
If you could see me now
The pain you gave away, so unknowingly
See the destruction of me
