Scares of Night - Poetry

Scares of night and what she bares
pensive air floats from here to there
running laps with weighted limbs
pushing past those hated hymns

Waking slow to the inner chatter
what is real and what don't matter
are dreams just that and nothing more
as I'm slamming hard another door

Off, I drift with no domain
a crafty chap who's gone insane
seeking solace or is it inner peace
on life itself, I shall take a lease

An earthly world my fleeting home
for the universe is where I'll roam
taking parts, from hearts, I steal
until one day, mine is revealed

Quite ethereal...drifting thoughts. Nicely done, Tim!
