Notes About The Poem
This is not about a physical scar but a mental scar That everyone hids away And the memories of how the scar happened Comes back in your sleep (a smell a word just a small Reminder is all it takes)

Scar

I have a scar you will never see because it's deep
Inside of me.

You Can look but you will never find because this
Scar is inside my mind.

You Can ask me questions and I will never say
Why I hide my scar away.

You might try to guess but you will never know
The reason this scar will never go.

You can ask me if I feel alright
As the scar only starts to really hurt when I dream
At night.
