Say It's Not So

For a few days now, it's been like I'm dreaming.
But in an instant, I try to process it's meaning.

I slip off to sleep.
Or am I in a thought so deep?

Either way, I wish I could stay.
This place that takes me away;

This place that dispels reality;
This place of calm and serenity.

Let me grieve and say it's just not so.
Let me think and sleep; just close the door.

For nothing more or less do I crave
Than to be left alone in this quiet cave.

Deep inside, my heart and soul are really okay.
Right now, I need some time to have nothing to say.
