Saw Myself Within

I looked around to see
who I could blame.
By way of a desire
to justify reasons in my mind’s game.

I believed the evidence
that makes thoughts true.
And through hate and interpretations
I lost you.

Then one day realized
who I was meant to be.
Saw myself within
and I was free.
