Saviour

To live a life of sorrow
Is to never win the war
To exist as an empty vessel
Downtrodden like those before
With nothing left to look forward to
But then nothing left to loose
It’s easy to stand aside
As in another’s shoes

When you’re all alone in the hallway
And all you feel is fear
And you do not have a tissue
To dry away your tears
When you feel like you are empty
Remember who you have loved
In the shadows in the darkness
Will be your saviour from above
