Saving You

Saving You

I know it must be cold
I know it must be lonely
Having to do what you are told
Behind those metal bars
But just remember
The ones who love you are never far

Just hold on tight
Don't lose sight
You've paid your dues
Just hold on to my love and be strong
And know that here is where you belong
It will be alright, I swear to you
Because I'll be the one to save you

The countdown has started
Days go by slow
And you wonder is your anxiety
Beginning to show
Just place all of your stress and fears on me
Don't worry what you feel is natural
But it all won't matter once you are free

Just hold on tight
Don't lose sight
You've paid your dues
Just hold on to my love and be strong
And know that here is where you belong
It will be alright, I swear to you
Because I'll be the one to save you

When the day finally comes
The doors will open wide
And I'll be waiting outside
Waiting to see that smile
That you can see for miles
Everyone you love will be by your side

Just hold on tight
Don't lose sight
You've paid your dues
Just hold on to my love and be strong
And know that here is where you belong
It will be alright, I swear to you
Because I'll be the one to save you
