Saving Daylight

You cannot save what you don't own;
If you try you will soon see it is gone.
Saving day or saving light;
Something about that just does not seem right.
But to make a moment happen during your day,
Or to cherish a memory along the way;
When you have daydreams or visions you shall see;
How to open up mind's vault and flashback on a memory.
Yet to save daylight, we are talking about time,
It cannot be captured, that's not how it is designed.
You can think on it but never go back to it.
That is just not how we do it.
Just make sure you make memories that are saved;
Share them with others, don't carry them to your grave.
