You took my hand
and pulled me out of the gloom.
Without even knowing,
you saved me from my doom.
A healing touch,
a loving kiss,
a caring hug,
a peaceful bliss.
You and I forever,
a never-ending love.
Surely a gift,
sent from above.
Without you
I'd be lost in the dark.
A senseless flight
to a beautiful lark.
I love you so much
my darling, my dear.
I'll never let you go,
always hold you near.
