Saved

Saved by Robert E. Welch, Sr. June 25, 2023 Walking down a strange new road, My easy gait has slowed. What I see is a darkened cave; Could it be an opened grave? I stand there, I look to see Into a darkness unknown to me. What lies ahead I cannot tell Is it Heaven, or is it Hell? I call out and await to hear All while shaking with fear. “Is someone there, are you hurt?” “Are you buried beneath the dirt”? Then came Jesus in a pure white sheet With a voice so soft and sweet. “Fear not, my child” he softly said, “For I have risen from the dead.” “Oh, Jesus, I knew you not until today, But now I will kneel and pray.” “I’ll take your hand and walk with you And always will be true.”
