Save Yourself

I see you lie in bed at night,
Sadness clouds you, turn on the light.
Come here now I heard your cries,
Come here now, dry your eyes.

I know it's tough right now,
But you'll be alright.
Just trust me, don't ask how.
Give it all your might.

Everything happens for a reason,
Pain may only stay for a season.
Give it time and you shall mend,
All this hurt will come to an end.

I am here I will be your protection,
I say to myself,
That girl in my reflection.

I think you did a wonderful job with this and your ending, which I wasn't expecting, was great. And if these thoughts are true, the best advice you have written to yourself above. Because all of that is true.

Couldn't sleep late at night because of sad things on my mind and things happening in my personal life so decided to dig the sad thoughts out and pour them onto paper and this is what i got, writing on impulse straight out of my head to breathe easier.
