Save Me a Place

Save me a place by your side,
entrapped in your thoughts.
I want to drink the color of your eyes
as I search the path to your heart.

I want to dip my fingers in your beauty
and sketch a portrait of shadows,
intermingled with light, intricately
floating on your love like a phantom.

You’re like a glimmering moonstone,
kissed by golden sunlight,
bedazzled by your skin tone,
as I inhale your caramel thighs.

I hear the sound of your footsteps
echoing through my mind.
Our lips touch in the perfect kiss,
sealed within these poetic lines.
