Save Me

I found that I can't breathe
for the night it chokes
my light,
and I'm finding it
quite hard to see.

You alone,
could teach me life,
help me
save me
win this fight.

Closer come to my skin
I have but to whisper
my souls within
Cant you see it's bigger
then you,
then me,
more significant then life alone
don't take it lightly
your precautions unknown

Why can't you grab my hand,
just rescue me,
my heart floating,
on dark open seas.
Open your eyes,
just ever so brief,
let it rise,
you too will see.
Perhaps in my rescue,
you shall be set free.
