Notes About The Poem

For Hiya Sharma's Contest " Stars Or Fireflies Fibonacci". Date August 7, 2026

Saudade Of Stars

Our
paired
essence
interweaves
the longing of stars
with calypso of enticed night,
creates concerto of stardust in garden of night

where timeless yearning written on stars weaves constellation lattice in my starlit sky.

Through diaphanous resolute psyche in ordained orbit, I follow faded stars, forecasting the fate of the
lost galaxy of love.

Following the existential stellar essence across the cosmic emptiness to where the stars disappear I
trace the beauty of memory, glowing like the sinking stars in the remains of everything that was once mine.

Sigh in those sinking stars! In the remains of everything! This is just beyond aching and poignant dear Subimal, how intricately you've woven that sense of longing.. with such exquisite wordsmithery and imagery layered throughout... "Through diaphanous resolute psyche in ordained orbit, I follow faded stars, forecasting the fate of the lost galaxy of love." Oh my! That yearning! deeply heartfelt! "existential stellar essence across the cosmic emptiness to where the stars disappear" felt that! Congratulations on your placement in my contest, pleasure reading, keep writinnn and shininnnn 🧚🍁🍂🌙💫
