Stars

Saudade of Stars

The
stars
twinkle
like your eyes
did when you loved me
so long ago, so far away~
you said you would come for me wherever I waited,
but the jealous stars stole you somewhere between dusk and dawn while I slept; why did I sleep?

Gosh sigh! A love that went so far away too soon.. this made my heart ache and my soul sigh with its poignancy and melancholic pulse.. i absolutely love the sincerity with which your expressed here, those tender emotions of sorrow and longing and the questioning in the end, oh my 😢🫂❤️‍🔥 "but the jealous stars stole you somewhere between dusk and dawn while I slept; why did I sleep?" Those linesss! Stole my heart absolutely! the soul of love weeps somewhere amidst your words.. dear Chetta. One of my faves for the contest, congratulations on your gorgeous placement, and thank you so much for participating! sending you poetic light n warmth of starsz 🧚💫🌙✨🍁🍂
