Saturated In Solitude

Alone,
silence, so stark,
me, lost in the unknown
and blind in my thoughts, yet, I own
the dark.

The dark,
like arms, embrace
me and leave their bleak marque,
forlorn in my world in this stark
sad place.

Right on the mark my friend. Those embraced by the darkness and sorrow it fosters are saturated in its solitude. A fav....

Thank you James :) They are tucked away. Only two or three of the ones posted now have been posted before; I'll probably just leave the others tucked away. I was glad to see you were still here James. Very glad

Thank you. Haven't seen you around lately, although I did recognize a couple of the poems you wrote under your pseudonym, when I visited your sight. I knew you left and I'm glad you've returned, I'm sure many are. It's a shame all of those years of poetry are gone, at least gone for us. I hope you have them squirreled away somewhere. Love your Hibiscus and welcome back. Thank you again for your wonderful comment. Looking forward to reading more of your new poems.
