Satin Sheets
Wipe the morning from your eyes
turn the daylight on
take time to put on your disguise
and then turn on your phone
the same routine most everyday
though Sundays we sleep in
the same moments we replay
and then play once agian
satin sheets caress my skin
as I realize the time
so difficult for me
to drag the day along behind
I look at you worn by the day
but just as i walk in
Buzz...there goes my alarm
and your gone once agian
