Sarah Elizabeth
He speaks words that cause this bleeding,
And he is not even aware.
The argument is deemed unworthy of completing,
And he does not know she cares.
So she keeps it locked deep inside her,
And he never gets to know.
Until finally when she's crying for,
Everything he had done so long ago.
Now she's fighting him and begins shouting,
How much he's hurt her and her hate.
As she leaves, it's more than pouting,
She's in a dire and dangerous state.
It's just too late when he can finally see,
And his sorry means so much less than before.
Every night he says a prayer to be,
A better father and close that door.
