Santa Claus

Imagining Santa Claus with unlimited age
Prehaps young and spriteful or aging and gray
Is he actually elderly or youthful like us?
Or outwardly aged but inwardly young

And what is the reason of him growing a Beard
For Beardlessness will not make him less dear
What for are the wrinkles and snow white hair
Does he need to show signs of wear?

So why does the image portray him in Red?
Why can’t it be orange, deep purple or Gray
Or Blue of the Sky or Gold like the sun
Or Polka dot,Spotted or even a stripe
