Santa and the Grinch Make a Truce

A truce was made on that snowy hill
By the Grinch and Santa, I heard from Bill
They decided to get along for a little while
Their terms were torn into bits in a giant pile

They fired their lawyers and got rid of their wives.
We can agree on something, they said, giving high fives.
It took almost a year, but that was okay.
They finally agreed the next Christmas Eve Day.
