Sanity
Waking up to reality
Hurts like reaching into insanity
Embracing your insecurity
Risking your sense of purity
Establishing a base of obscurity
In my mind I erase my clemency
Sew a new seed of decency
My soul embargoes a dark maturity
Your true face remains in anonymity
So I continue to live in this reality
Omitting what had once made my happy
Ultimately executing life’s absurdity
Leaving behind my only sanity
