Sands

Sands



Alone in the sands that 
lie beneath my feet 
between the unknown 
and far from the seas
Desolate situations    
can only bring me to believe 
to the peace I’m in
feeling so free
A star in the sky
so far away 
can drift to me closer 
If I stare in a certain way 
Through all the clouds 
over stormy nights
passionate kisses 
longing for one more night 
just to be alone with you
Can you feel me as I write?
