Sandbags Against the Reverie of Your Woe

I stacked sandbags against the reverie of your woe, created a dam to ensure you’d stay safe and dry- Then the tempest came and you drown in the undertow. I knew the risks barriers bestowed as you let go, you knew not I saw the whole thing; you didn’t even try. I watched the ripples in the reverie as you sank below. June 17, 2018
