Sand

I lie in the carpet of sand
Trespassed by many a man
Skin hazed film of white
Sun bleached daily natures' rite
I wish for the seas cleansing pass
A ritual of natures' purifying glass
And I feel the draw of the sea
What a wondrous feel to be free

Really nice, Kelli. It would have been nice to rub in that hazy film of white as you have captured my imagination. You better be careful or you'll end up in one of my poems. LOL Really enjoyed the write, young lady.

It does lead ones' imagination in a few directions. Skin, sea glass or simply sand?
