Sand

Spritely now, powdered grains brush on the docks And then rouse four winds, draped among treetops Naming stars, through far up painted moonlight Dressed in rhinestones , gold-dust hails summer rites. For Andrea Dietrich's Contest Four-Letter Words:An Acrostic ChallengePoetry 28 August 13

Hi Nette! You sure gave sand some falir here! Your acrostic sure is very cool! And glad to know you were safe from maring-- buti na lang, hindi ganung katindi yung sumunod! Balik pork barrel scam naman...again it was my pleasure to call in that day and to listen to you and Drake-- it was a fun show! Ang saya kaya and a joy na magbigay suporta in my own way. You back in Manila? Basta, ingat lagi and sending hugs!

Grains of sand, as plethora as the stars in the night sky! I really enjoyed reading the part of the last line, "gold-dust hails summer rites" that describes summer by the very words you have used! What a beautiful piece, such a superior verse! Great Work!!
