Salvation: Direct Responce To L.S's I Hear Her Screams
tears fill my eyes, and i open them in the dark,
i see your eyes, and for once i feel my heart,
your hand holds mine softly as you pull me to my feet,
within your arms we share a heart beat,
ill walk this road if you promise youll be by my side,
with you renewing my hope i know we can make it out alive,
you breath life into my heart with each kiss upon my soul,
ive heard your screams repelling the dark around us, letting me know im not alone,
no one had ever called to god on my behalf before, no one had ever screamed,
why do you above others dwell at his door, to plead for me,
you plead for my sanity, for my salvation and life,
what makes you different, makes me alright,
Logan, your like an angel, sent from god,
to save me from my darkness, when i cant do it alone,
you kiss the tears away from my eyes,
and turn my screams into peaceful sighs,
the rain pours gently upon our faces, and washes are tears away,
the sun shines bright, with the light youve brought to my life,
and promises that we'll walk to a better road tonight,
i believe in you. and you believe in me,
and with your love i find i can now see,
i can breath, as long as your with me,
we'll walk down this path, that leads to our dreams
youve heard my screams, youve heard my cries
youve shown me, that i dont have to die.
