Salty Water

Is it worth the salty water
Or trudge through wind and rain?
You feel as though you've lost it all.
What's Left is strife and pain.

Is it worth the salty water
Or trails it leaves behind?
You fret about the life you've lived.
Harsh thoughts consume the mind.

Is it worth the salty water
To just lie still and wait?
Your tears will come and they will go.
Don't hold an empty plate.
