Salty Tears

Locked in a room
Shedding salty tears
Away from the world
Hiding from my fears
In solitude
So, I can’t be hurt
From the evil outside
I must divert
Why is my pain
Someone else’s gain?
Peering out the window
There is nothing
But snow
It’s so cold
It must be 5 below
Healing my soul
From a world of pain
A positive outlook
Is what I must gain.
