Salt Water

Water cleanse the stains away, I seek redemption here today

As I fall into this ocean blue, I ask for death to come from you

Pull me deep beneath your waves, so deep that I may not be saved

As I dive into this storm at sea, I ask that you take hold of me

Salt water of this powerful sea, accept my tears as one with thee

I pray too late that I be found, as into this water I quickly drown

As consciouness begins to fade, onto this ocean bed I'm laid,

Salt water as I drink your wine, I feel my tears with you entwine

I close my eyes and fall asleep, become a part of this Ocean deep

My last request will now come true, as my tears of salt merge with you.

~ Salt water you will ever be, the taste of tears that fell from me.~
