Sakura has pride of place in Japanese culture. It's a pity that cherry blossoms do not last long! ~ Best regards and happy Easter, Tom. // paul

Thank you Paul, we have it here too but not like Japan like you state, it doesn't last long with the windy weather. Enjoy your Easter weekend . Tom

Interesting that Washington D.C. looks like this now too. From about March 20 through April 15 or so, I think. Three cherry-cheers for that: Hip, hip Cherray!

Thanks David, a sure sign that spring is underway, noticing a stretch in the evenings now. Bet some high up official lives there in that penthouse. Was reading about sakura this morning and the idea came to me. Enjoy your weekend. Tom

Gorgeous! I hope they last a good while. I can't help but think blooms in Spring lift all people but intellectually I know some don't go there, some barely, the entire spectrum of reactions on all things certainly includes spring. Glad to be an Spring enjoyer commenting to another. Take care

Cherry blossoms are my ultimate favourite Tom! Ha - just remembered you threatened an audio - you could start small and give this oriental delight a Brummie twist :)
