Notes About The Poem

Seems St. Patrick's day is a major drinking holiday. I'm sure Sait Patrick would be proud......or maybe not. He's not here to ask.

Saint Patrick's Day

Saint Patrick's Day

Saint Patrick's Day, I am a fan
For Ireland he is the man
Got rid of snakes, know what I mean?
Today's his day, we must wear green

In Savannah I have seen
The fountains spouting waters green
Also emerald is the beer
Not what I've seen, but what I hear

If leprechauns lead you astray
And have too much to drink today
Take Uber when you leave the bar
When sober, back to get your car

Then Patty's day won't make you cry
And you won't get a DUI
Won't run your car into a ditch
And help make Uber drivers rich

Thanks for the review. We did nothing special. Too old to drink green beer.
