Notes About The Poem

Couldn't let St. Patrick's Day go by without brining it into present times a little..

Saint Patrick's Day 2018

Saint Patrick's Day 2018
By Franklin Price
3/17/2018

Today is old Saint Patrick's Day
It's the wearin' o' the green
Chased the snakes right out of Ireland
Not a nary one I've seen

I must say, I've never been there
But hope some day I'll be
To see where the patron saint of Ireland
Chased the snakes into the sea

He was not himself an Irishman
Thought maybe you should know
And read this poem in early morning
Before you drink and start to glow

To celebrate with Irish whiskey
Is part of Saint Patrick's Day
Get an Uber to get you around
If you drink the day away
