Sailorman & Sailorgirl
* SailorMan speaks... thus SailorGirl answers...*
You got me so... I'm easily fooled~
Sharp your tongue 'twas all it took~
You got me so... as easily too~
Just your eyes upon me so~
Not your crests nor belly jeweled~
But simpler just a withering look~
Quick your mind thus my heart flew~
Light your touch your eyes a’glow~
Down now I go where naught be found~
Dark within my wretched heart~
Full of sorrow bereft of sound~
Up so should we now go quick~
Stars aloft from heaven sent~
We’ll burn that candle down to wick~
You might have so then all told~
Such was your way of brass & bold~
Ye may have easily had my gold~
Yet yours was lust of brass & bold~
Island Bay no longer play~
Rain down slides to silken tree~
Returns now me to sea this day~
Island Bay we’ve been enough~
Moonrise now just ours to see~
Sends us back in harmony~
