Sailing Our Love
Sailing Our Love
by Rick Rucker
Love has granted me,
A feeling of Serenity.
No more flailing about,
Seeming quite the lonesome lout!
Before it struck, I was lost,
On The Sea of Love, my Heart was tossed.
Now I know the course to plot,
And to gain, I have a lot.
Hazards numerous to dodge,
But my Love they won't dislodge!
Once again, I navigate the shoals,
My First Mate and I have set our goals.
We'll sail the World in our tiny ship,
In stormy weather, we'll find a safe slip.
Around the World we will go,
No hurry now, we'll take it slow.
We will sail both near and far,
Following Love's Ceaseless Star!
