Said the Dog To the Flea

‘What’s going on please? Tell me right now’ said the dog to the flea, who had jumped from the cow. ‘You cannot live here and that is a fact, else more of your kind you will likely attract’. ‘But this is my home all fluffy and spacious where family can settle. Why can’t you be gracious?’ ‘Because you are a flea, I’ll be scratching all day, it is time you and your friends be well on your way.’ The flea scratched his head, he was ever so sad, as this was the best place, to date, he’d had. ‘Shall I jump back on the cow?’ was a fleeting thought, but it is way to smelly and the terrain was fraught. Whereas the dog was clean, it’s a much better gaff, jump back on the cow, are you having a laugh? ‘I’m staying put and the family I’ll move? said the flea to the dog, who didn’t approve! ‘I’ll embed myself so deep in your fur that scratching all day will surely occur’. ‘Well you have been warned!’ said the dog to the flea, ‘I hope you can swim for its bath time for me!’
