Safe In My Slumber

Safe in my slumber
Where it is only me who creates
They frown upon my dreaming state

Safe in my slumber
Along side my fears
They ask me why dawn brings tears

Safe in my slumber
Where I am in control
They wonder why I am a lazy soul

Safe in my slumber
They ask why I hate to wake
I simply tell them the keyword is safe

Thanks for the comment, and I agree there is a fine line between safe and escape when it comes to dreaming, thanks for reading David!
