Safe For All
When will there be a day
we put the bull shi*t away
safe for all kids of color
to come out and play
not have to run away
shooting at each other
caught with a bullet that is stray
do what we see and what they say
why do we hurt one another
because violence is all we portray
death and there is no other way
sorry to our mothers
so at night I will pray
try to get rid of all my sins before I lay
that way no one else has to suffer.
