Safe

A safe place to hide, a safe place to go
Is under The Almighty’s shadow
A safe place to run, a safe place to rest
When we are weary from doing our best

A safe place to go when the battle rages
Safe from the war, the Rock of Ages
Under His wings we shall abide
When from the storm we safely hide

A place of rest and comfort, too
When our battle’s finally through
A place to go in time of need
If to Him our voice will heed

A place to be you can’t go wrong
When your journey’s hot and the road is long
Love and peace are in this place
In the lap of God and in His grace
