Sadness In My Heart

Tears that I cry Is from the pain inside Where should I hide? Because it hurts to cry When I think of my mom I know that she’s gone She was the beat in my heart To help me carry on Laughs are at times bitter Not full of joyful expressions Mind full of fire and rage That exists in my hearts suppression I don’t wish to die But there’s a scar Something eternal To what makes my heart cry It may be the past That brings back painful memories All the mistakes that I’ve made Is my heart suffering the penalty? I truly desire a better life For my family and I To grow closer through love To reach for heaven in the sky But times my heart is sad Some days I cry I wish I could know this pain Can anyone tell me why?
