Sad to see

Prices soar.
Friendships thrown out the door.
One hour to war.
Leaders leading.
Soldier's bleeding.
Don't know the why.
But brings a tear to the eye.
Sad to see.
Land and sea.
Fire from above.
Tell me... What happened to love.
People crying.
People dying.
Politicians lying.
Thinking they are above the law.
That's their flaw.
Time will always tell.
When the world is under the spell.
Madness is in charge.
Hate is at large.
Let freedom ring.
The people sing.
War.
Kill some more.
How far we have came.
Yet hate is still the same.
Don't know who is to blame
I don't understand.
Everyone playing the hate band.
Singing the same song.
Don't know where it went wrong.
Sad to see.
The price we pay to be free.
You and me.
We are the same.
Don't care who's to blame.
Love needs to stay on top.
Or humanity will flop.
