Sad Suicide

He looks up into the mirror with his sad eyes, puts his hand over his chest and doesn't feel a beat. He looks out the window at the sun, He goes outside and it starts to rain. He thinks to himself at least the sky feels my pain. As a tear falls down and drops to the ground he realizes he isn't needed anymore. He digs into his pocket and pulls out his knife. He cuts his throat and takes his life. The next day he is found and in his hand was a note and this is what he wrote My life has no meaning so i matters will die. Tell my mom im sorry, Tell her not to cry. She knew i had problems and i promised her i wouldn't do nothing stupid but i lied. This was truly a sad suicide.

Sad, indeed. Can't help but wonder how his mother felt after reading the note. Suicide causes such pain for those we leave behind. It's really quite a selfish response to pain. Thank you for this insightful write, Ian. Love, Carolyn

Though it's a poem... suicide does not describe brevity...unless you meant you broke up.
