Sad Story

He worked hard every day of his life, To support himself, his children and his wife. Thru sickness and health, good days and bad, He persevered, struggled and gave all that he had. For his family he suffered and did without, He sacrificed for their sake, a good man there is no doubt. Now he is old and they leave him alone, No visits, no cards, no calls on the phone. She left him and went on ahead, He misses her and wants to be dead. What did he do to end up so sad? He shakes his head and remembers he is just like his dad.
