Animals were my friends, as a child....I was devastated when somethiing bad happened to them... here playfulness is brought to a tragic end. Very sad, and we never forget the loss either....Congratulatis on your win, Heidi! ( and thank you for visiting my poem too- it really means a lot to me! Big Hug! :-))

Oh Heidi, this is so sad! I hate it when puppies or dogs get killed by cars, I cry whenever I see that! Yes, I am a sensitive person, I do cry easily, too easily at times! Your poem is exquisitely written, a masterful piece! You have certainly touch my soul with this Senryu, so I believe that Laura will be touched as well, and get sad too! What a fantastic piece Great Work!!
