Sad Season
Chills
Reaching far below the surface
Snatch what little warmth I’ve left
And I feel
Underwater
With emotion
Struggling
In sublime attempt for air
Those words cut me to the bone
Draining life blood from my veins
Those fateful words
Of goodbye
I will never love anyone like I love you
Of this I am sure
You changed my days from rain
To a sunshine through prism day
when all hues of colors
Softly
Faded from grey
All I can feel around me
Is the pain I feel in my heart
Especially at this Christmas time
When we are now apart.
