Mama Bear Poet Rhyme

Sad Loss

We have been friends for so many years
I shared my happy thoughts and also my tears

We did not always get together
But I thought our friendship was forever

I made the call you said you would check you time
What did I do wrong?  I feel like slime

You have not replied I don't know why
But I won't call again your lack of response has made me cry






This is something that was a reminder to me when I read my son Richard's poem  where he was so fortunate to have such good friends   Some times friends disappear in a heart beat   Love them while they are there  Nothing is forever
